ORNL case studyNew study shows Allinea Software enabling key science at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL)

Tennessee, USA, 2012-10-30 – A new study released today shows the market-leading debugger, Allinea DDT, is facilitating world-class research that spans the universe of scientific inquiry – everything from astrophysics to the structure of nuclei – with more computing power than ever before.

The Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) is based at ORNL in Tennessee and is the home of Jaguar, a Cray XK6 that was rated the world’s fastest computer in 2010. Renamed Titan, the system is now being upgraded to perform 20 petaflops – a clear challenger to regain its title.
