Allinea issues News Online, an update of news and forthcoming events in HPC Tools.

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the first release of our Allinea News on Line. You may be aware that on November 5th, Streamline Computing spun out its software activity into Allinea Software. The move will help the company address the HPC tools market more effectively with our partners. Please see the full press release.
Our aim with Allinea News on Line is to provide the latest news from Allinea on a regular basis. Product News
Version 1.8 of the Distributed Debugging Tool (DDT) is available. Version 1.8 now offers significantly enhanced Fortran 90/95 support, including derived data-types, modules, allocatable arrays, character variables and kinds…, as well as other minor improvements and bug fixes. Please go to the DDT main page for complete information on new features in DDT 1.8. Please note that this version is available for download to all customers who have a current license for maintenance and support. A 30-day trial license is also available. See DDT downloads
Allinea's new Optimization and Profiling Tool OPT has been announced and was demonstrated at Supercomputing 2004. Allinea OPT represents the next generation of interoperable tools for HPC, Grid enabled from the start!. OPT will be in Beta within the next few weeks and we will soon be looking for Beta customers. If you wish to be included in our Beta program, please respond to this email with the subject “OPT beta” and you will be added to our list.
